Accessibility statement
This accessibility statement applies to elisabethward.co.uk
This website is run by Elisabeth Ward, disability inclusion consultant. I want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
- zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
- listen to the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
I’ve also made the content as simple as possible to understand.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you’re disabled
Website accessibility
I have reviewed and tested the website and it should be compliant with accessibility standards. Known issues:
- contact form error messages could be clearer – I cannot edit this in my template. Alternative form plugins did not seem as accessible.
If you experience any barriers, or think I’m not meeting accessibility requirements, please contact me with the issue and I’ll work on fixing it as soon as possible.
